What is ROOTED?
WHO?
- People just like YOU established the roots of what is now known as Christ’s Church.
- WE, as a CHURCH FAMILY have FAITHFULLY SERVED this community for five decades, obeying God’s call to make, better, and more DISCIPLES for JESUS.
WHAT?
- As we celebrate the 50 years of changed hearts and lives through Christ’s Church, we are prayerfully and humbly embarking on a 14-month generosity journey we’re calling ROOTED.
WHY?
- God is not done. HE is calling US to GROW OUR GENEROSITY with HIM to new levels.
- Now it is our season to live out UNWAVERING FAITH, UNCOMMON HOPE and UNSTOPPABLE LOVE to point new GENERATIONS to JESUS.
- GENEROSITY CHANGES GENERATIONS – AND IT BEGINS WITH YOU!
PRIMARY GOAL
The PRIMARY goal is that 100% of the Christ’s Church family would engage deeply with God in a time of genuine spiritual growth. This is about what God wants to do IN us. This comes first: every person who calls Christ’s Church home prayerfully listening to God’s leading and growing in generosity discipleship.
SECONDARY GOAL
The SECONDARY goal is mission advancement. This is about the good that God desires to do through us for the next 50 years of ministry. During this season we will seek to live out
UNWAVERING FAITH, UNCOMMON HOPE, and UNSTOPPABLE LOVE
as we continue to point generations to Jesus!

We will not compromise our weekly giving toward our ministry. $7.5 million a year comes to Christ’s Church through generosity toward our general fund. Our general budget is anything but general. Amazing things happen and lives change day in, and day out through ministries like CCKids, CCStudents, small groups, weekend services, Starting Point, care and recovery groups, men’s and women’s events, Senior Adults, Prison Ministry and a host of other ministries.

Coming out of a global pandemic has created unprecedented needs in our community and around the globe. Over the year, we will offer uncommon levels of hope as we serve our global and local partners, including new initiatives in Northeast Florida and Spain. Our plan is to invest $2.5 million in local and global initiatives.

HOPE
UNSTOPPABLE LOVE
With an unstoppable love we will take radical risks to reach people far from God. This will enable the launch of a new campus, fuel an initiative to revive declining and dying churches, provide needed and ongoing improvements to existing campuses, and significantly reduce our long-term debt by $3.5 million, cutting our debt by 50%. Debt slows us down from doing more to reach people and by reducing our debt, we’ll save thousands of dollars in interest and free up more dollars for ministry in the long run.
